Will Gibson is a highly experienced touring musician with a large breadth of knowledge and skill when it comes to performance, composition/arranging, production, and recording.

He is a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, primarily playing guitar but also holding it down on a number of gigs playing bass, drums, tenor & baritone guitars, banjo, lap steel, as well as orchestral and auxiliary percussion. He is also a trained tenor-range vocalist with nearly a decade of experience under his belt singing in nationally award-winning choirs throughout his time in high school and college, as well as singing lead vox/bgv’s in many pop & rock groups.

With his years of Berklee training, a wide-range of professional gigs under his belt, and his raw rock band roots; Will brings an authentic, yet sophisticated level of quality to everything he does.

He has music directed shows and artists seen by thousands of people, taking them from their first conversations all the way to stages of all sizes. These shows range from small basement shows to massive multi-disciplinary productions involving teams of 80 people and large budgets.

Will Gibson has toured multiple times across the continental United States. Notably, he has done two tours with Headsick, a Boston-based Post-Harcore band of which he is a member. His first tour with the group was supporting RingPop! in the Northeast US in 2025, and the second was a co-headlining tour with Sevalynn up the West Coast from Orange County, CA to Seattle, WA in Summer 2026. On both tours, he was playing guitar, singing, and playback engineering. He has also accompanied various artists in their live shows and on their records.

As well as performance, Will has lots of expertise running playback. Both doing so from the wings as well as while playing in the band. He is confident with Ableton Live and Logic Pro. This also includes designing and running in-ear monitoring rigs, as well as programming MIDI setups that control certain tech elements so the performance can be the main focus when on-stage.

He also has lots of experience playing in Pit Orchestras. He has played for musicals such as Mean Girls, SpongeBob: The Musical, Seussical, Newsies, American Idiot: The Musical, and Ragtime, just to name a few. His ability to sight-read and double on various other instruments has made him particularly useful in these settings.

Will has also been featured on several recordings in many different capacities. Not only as an instrumentalist but as a co-writer, producer, and mixing and mastering engineer. You can listen to some of these in this Spotify playlist:

A Top-Tier Music Education.

Will is a current student at Berklee College of Music, pursuing a double bachelor’s degree in Contemporary Writing & Production, and Guitar Performance. He is set to graduate in May of 2027. He has been the recipient of departmental awards such as the Jack Peterson Award of Outstanding Achievement from the Guitar Faculty. There, he has made a name for himself as a performing guitarist, playing in several packed, large-scale productions at the Berklee Performance Center, as well as playing for many independent artists among the student body.

He is also a prolific arranger on campus, writing live versions of generational classics and student originals for everything from caf shows to giant flagship productions.

One of his biggest achievements at Berklee was single-handedly music directing, arranging, playing guitar in, playback engineering, and track programming “The Paramore Ensemble Presents: The FINAL RIOT!”. This was a high-octane Paramore-tribute performance to a thousand-person-deep audience at the Berklee Performance Center with a 19-piece band, 6 singers, and a setlist of over 30 songs. Hayley Williams watched the performance and posted about it on Substack.


At Berklee he has been lucky enough to study with some truly outstanding teachers.
These include: Jon Finn, Norm Zocher, Lisa Guyer, Mimi Jones, Crystal Torres, Alexander Clements, Lee Abe, Tia Fuller, and Abby Aronson, among others.

Before going to Berklee, Will attended the University of Redlands Conservatory of Music in California under the teaching of renowned jazz-guitarist Jody Fisher. While there, Will honed his skills under the rigor of a classical conservatory setting. Topics of study included Jazz Guitar, Music Theory, Conducting, and Music History. He spent two years there before transferring to Berklee in the Fall of 2023.

Growing up in Anaheim, CA, Will has always been surrounded by amazing music and arts.

Will’s musical education truly started when he was much younger, with two public-school arts teachers as parents. His father began teaching him music basically from birth. That support and encouragement from his family went a long way towards his eventual maturing into the professional he is now.

Technically, the first instrument Will ever took lessons on was the bagpipes when he was only 5, before moving on to drums and eventually guitar and bass at age 10.
